Jennifer Lionti is currently the Perugina USA Marketing Manager. She shared with us that she has “always been a bit obsessed with food” and that her “life revolves around food”. She said, “I grew up cooking alongside my Sicilian mother and learned to cook many delicious dishes at a very young age. When I moved out of my parents’ home, I enjoyed experimenting with new dishes and different cuisines. I lived in Italy in my early twenties and enjoyed traveling to different regions and exploring the wonderful dishes and traditions each region offered. When I met my husband, food seemed to be a topic we were both passionate about. And when we were first married, we would often have dinner at 9 p.m. because we would come home from work and then spend hours creating amazing meals. Three kids later, we no longer have that luxury, but we still do our best to have dinner together as a family every night. The recipes we choose are simple but wholesome. Our sons also get involved with the prep work and we make it fun family time. We also love to entertain and Chicken Stuffed With Gruyere, Arugula, & Prosciutto is always a crowd favorite. It looks fancy when you slice it but is really quite simple to prepare. The best part is that you can do most of the prep work ahead of time and enjoy your company while the chicken is baking. This same recipe can be made using swiss cheese, prosciutto or ham and parsley or the arugula can be substituted with spinach. The possibilities are endless and the presentation is always spectacular!”
