Olive Oil Beauty: Masks, Scrubs and More

475209653

It’s no secret that olive oil is rich with many nutrients and vitamins, including those good for the skin, such as Oleic acid and Vitamins A and E. These vitamins allow it to be a universal skin solution, serving as a cleanser, exfoliant, and moisturizer. Olive oil is easily absorbed by the skin due to the small size of its molecules and does not clog pores, like many other oils do.

Here are some of our favorite ways to incorporate olive oil not only into your daily meals, but also into your skin and hair care routines.

We recommend you do spot tests on your skin with all of these recipes before applying them to your face, lips, etc., because everyone reacts differently to certain ingredients. Wait 24 hours and if no allergic reaction appears, you are safe to indulge!
