Why Create an Account?:
Signing-in expedites the checkout process.  Billing, shipping, and account information are conveniently – and securely – stored so that all forms are completed automatically. Account information can easily be updated at any time if changes are needed.  View our security and privacy policies.

Account Creation / Sign in:
To create an account, you will be asked to choose a user id and password as well as supply your name, billing address, shipping address, phone number, email, and credit card account details. On your next visit to Colavita Store.com, signing-in will be a snap! Enter your user id and password and when you're ready to check out and complete your order, your billing, shipping, and credit card information will be automatically supplied.

Ordering:
Ordering from Colavita Store.com is easy and 100% secure.

1. Browse our large selection of product categories using the navigation bar on the left of the screen.  Or, use the search engine feature to locate product listings by keyword.

2. To review or select an item to order, click on the product name or image.

3. Click on the "Add to Cart" button to add the item to your cart.

4. From the Shopping Cart icon (top right of page) you can:

· Change the quantity of an item and then update the order

· Remove items from the order by checking the “Remove” box and clicking “Recalculate”

· Apply Coupon Codes and see your new total by clicking “Recalculate”

· Continue shopping for more items by clicking "Keep Shopping." Your order will be saved and new items selected will be added to the order.

· Proceed to checkout to complete your transaction.

6. By clicking Checkout on the main menu bar on the top right of the screen, you will start the ordering process.  The contents of your shopping cart will appear.  You have the opportunity to make any of the changes noted above.  When you are satisfied with the contents of your shopping cart, click Checkout.  

7. Check Out requires three easy steps

· Step 1: Account holders may log in and Billing Address and Shipping Address details will automatically fill in.  New customers may create an account. Or, customers can Shop as a Guest and fill in the Billing Address and Shipping Address fields manually. 

· Step 2:  Confirm that the Billing Address and Shipping Address are correct and make edits if necessary.  Choose the level of UPS service desired and view the cost of each level of service.  Additional comments may be submitted here. Please do not enter coupon codes in the comments field.

· Step 3:  Here the order, including applied shipping charges and taxes if applicable, can be viewed.  Shoppers will be asked to enter credit details to complete the transaction.  Once the order has been placed, a confirmation number and order summary will be emailed to the email address supplied in the Billing Details form in Step 1.  You have successfully completed your order with Colavita Store.com!  Once the order is processed, a second email containing a tracking number will follow. 

Sales Tax:
Sales tax may be applied to candy items based on the laws of each state.  Rates will vary by state and are subject to change.

Payment Methods:
Colavita Store.com accepts American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards. We unable to accept cash, personal checks, or money orders. 

Shipping Locations:
Colavita Store.com can only ship to addresses in the United States and US Territories.  Shipments sent within the United States are sent via UPS. Sorry, no COD orders or deliveries to PO, FPO, and APO addresses.

Order Processing and Delivery Times: 
Please understand that at times, delays may be necessary due to weather, availability, or other conditions. We will do our best to inform you of any delay in shipping your order.  See below for shipping details based on your choice of UPS service.

For: UPS Ground Service: To determine the date we'll ship your order, allow 2 to 3 business days from the time of receipt for order processing.  Under normal conditions, all in-stock items are shipped within 2 days after order receipt.  Colavita is closed Saturday and Sunday.

For: UPS 3-Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS Next Day Air Saver: Orders requiring any of these service levels must be received by Noon Eastern Time to be processed and shipped that same day.  Orders received after Noon Eastern Time will be shipped the next business day.

Shipping Options: 
Colavita Store.com ships via UPS and offers four levels of delivery service to most US destinations:

· UPS Ground Service - This is the standard delivery option. It is a dependable service that reaches every address throughout the 50 states with delivery time based on the destination’s distance from Colavita headquarters in New Jersey.  See the UPS Ground Shipping chart for a typical delivery timetable.  Orders will ship within one to two days of receipt.

· UPS 3-Day Select - Delivery by the end of the third business day throughout the 48 contiguous states. Orders must be received by Noon Eastern Time to be shipped on the same day of receipt. 

· UPS 2nd Day Air - Delivery by the end of the second business day.  Some locations in Alaska and Hawaii require additional transit time. Orders must be received by Noon Eastern Time to be shipped on the same day of receipt. 

· UPS Next Day Air Saver - Delivery between 3:00 and 4:30 PM on the next business day. Available in the 48 contiguous states and limited addresses in Alaska and Hawaii. Orders must be received by Noon Eastern Time to be shipped on the same day of receipt. 

Shipping Perishables:
To ensure the highest level of freshness, we highly advise that you choose the UPS Next Day Air Saver or UPS 2nd Day Air option when ordering cheese, meat, and chocolate from Colavita Store.com.

Shipping Rates:
UPS calculators determine the rate for each order based on the weight of the shipment, the destination of the shipment, and the level of shipping service selected.

Refer to the above UPS Ground Shipping map, determine the number of business days it takes to transport a package. This will help you make the right shipping choice to suit your needs. Delivery times may vary significantly from indicated times for packages being delivered to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other US Territories.

Please note - while we will make every effort to get your packages to you by your desired date, Colavita Store.com cannot guarantee the timely arrival of your package.

Tracking Packages:
When you place an order, Colavita Store.com will email you an order confirmation. Included will be a UPS Tracking Number. Packages can be tracked via UPS.com or by placing the tracking number into the box provided below.Top of Form

 

Shipping to Multiple Addresses: 
Only one "ship to" address is allowed per order. If you need to send items to multiple addresses, please order separately for each address.

Gift Message:
A short personal greeting of up to 75 characters may be entered in the Gift Message field during Step 2 of 3 in the Checkout process. Please note, ColavitaStore.com does not offer cards. The personalized gift message will appear printed on the UPS shipping label that is affixed to the outside of the package. Keep in mind that the note will be visible on the outside of the package. 

Out of Stock Policy:
We will contact you to recommend substitutions if any Colavita Store.com items are out of stock.

Return Policy:
We guarantee that every item ordered from Colavita Store.com will arrive in superb condition. In the rare event of spoilage or damage, our customer service department will review the situation and issue a refund, store credit or a replacement item if applicable. If possible, please save all boxes and packing materials and maintain any product in your refrigerator or freezer, as appropriate, pending resolution of the problem. Cancelling Orders: 
Orders can be cancelled if they have not already been shipped. To inquire about the status of your order, please send an email to store@colavita.com or call 1-888-265-2848.

Orders taken by this website use a special Secure Server that encrypts and secures order forms for your protection. In addition, we manually submit each credit card transaction to our bank for approval. Credit card numbers and personal data never leave our secured server database ensuring your comfort that no one can illegally obtain information about your transaction.
