Fruttato, which means fruity, describes the oil’s character.  It’s the perfect name for an oil that exhibits such pronounced fruit flavor and fragrance.   Private Selection Fruttato Extra Virgin Olive Oil is pressed from specially selected young olives that are picked are before peak ripeness.  This yields an oil with a bold taste that awakens the senses, filling the palate with a pleasantly peppery note.  

Use Private Selection Fruttato Extra Virgin Olive Oil as a finishing oil to best preserve the oil’s distinct characteristics. The intense flavor will mellow ever so slightly when the oil is used to complement foods that are roasted, grilled, or sautéed.

During the colder months, olive oil will congeal during shipping. This is normal, natural, and will not disturb the quality of the oil. Please allow congealed oil to rest at room temperature for 24 hours.
