Meet Tiffany Cromwell of the
Colavita/Sutter Home Women’s Cycling Team

Described by her teammates as a “girly-girl with a bit of grit”, Tiffany Cromwell’s fierce determination on the bike has powered her to back-to-back first place finishes at the Garrett Lemire Memorial Grand Prix and Sea Otter Classic races this April.

A noted climber (a cyclist who is skilled in handling the steepest terrain), Tiffany was a force to be reckoned with during the Sea Otter Road Circuit Race where she covered territory that’s usually reserved for challenging the ability of powerful sports cars - 22 laps of California’s Laguna Seca raceway, the Nascar course notorious for its early steep climb followed by the exhilarating corkscrew descent that wraps itself back around.  Remarkably, Tiffany held upwards of a one and half minutes lead on the chase group.

A native of Adelaide, Australia, Tiffany represented her country at the Junior World Road Championships in 2005 and 2006 and finished 2nd in the Australian Under 23 Road Championships this year.

In the off season, Tiffany studies fashion design and works as a graphic artist at a sportswear company.  Her goal is to one day launch her own line of women’s cycling apparel and sportswear.

For this fun-loving Aussie that likes the spicy and fresh flavors of Thai cuisine, the Colavita Test Kitchen suggests: Ma Po Tofu and Thai Inspired Turkey Loaf with Fruit Salsa.
