Baci Pie

Origin: Chocolate and Aphrodisiacs Expert Francine Segan
Ingredients:

1 single pie-crust (store bought or homemade)
1/2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
1/4 cup Italian hazelnut liqueur such as Frangelico
18 Perugina Baci candies


Preparation:


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 
Roll out the crust and place in a 10-inch pie pan.  In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, eggs, butter and liqueur.  Beat well with a hand mixer. Pour into prepared crust; place the Baci, nut side up, into the batter.  Bake for about 45 minutes, or until the top is set.  Cool to room temperature before cutting.
