Pork Chops with Colavita Grilled Cipollini Onions
Serves:4
Colavita's Grilled Cipollini Onions give this simple dish deep rich flavor.
Origin: Lindy's Table
Ingredients:

4 (4-ounce) boneless pork chops
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasonings
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons COLAVITA Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 cup dry white wine
2 cups Rachael Ray All-Natural Beef Flavored Stock
1 container COLAVITA Cipollini Onions, drained and halved

Preparation:

Pat the chops dry.  Sprinkle with thyme, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.  In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium high heat.  When hot, add the chops; brown well on both sides.  Remove and set-aside.  Add the wine, reduce by 1/2; add the beef stock and onions, reduce by 1/2; return the chops and any accumulated juices to the skillet.  Reduce the heat and simmer until the chops are cooked through, about 10 minutes (do not overcook); and the sauce is reduced and thickened.  Place the chops on a warmed plate or platter and pour the sauce over.
