1 12 - ounce package bread stuffing mix (we used whole wheat and corn bread) 4 tablespoons COLAVITA Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 medium onion, chopped 2 ribs of celery chopped 1 carrot, chopped 1 teaspoon each: fresh rosemary, thyme and sage, minced Salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste 2 cups Rachael Ray All-Natural Chicken Stock 1/2 cup milk |
Preparation:
Heat oil in a large saute pan; add onion, celery and carrots. Saute until soft, about 7 minutes. Add the herbs and salt and pepper, to taste. Place the stuffing mix into a large bowl; add the cooked vegetables with herbs. Toss lightly to combine. In a saucepan, bring the broth to a boil; add to the stuffing mix, toss well. Add milk and mix again. Allow to cool. The stuffing can now be stuffed inside the turkey (do so just prior to placing the turkey in the oven) or put into a baking dish and bake at 350 degrees F for about 30 to 40 minutes.
