Brandy Mayonnaise
This is a delicious and different cocktail sauce for cold shrimp, crab, lobster or salmon.  Or try it on your next burger!
Ingredients:

1 cup mayonnaise, can be reduced fat or try this homemade option
1 tablespoon sour cream
1/4 teaspoon dried dill
1 teaspoon  fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
4 tablespoons brandy

Preparation:

Combine all the ingredients in a medium glass or ceramic bowl. (Do not use aluminum or copper; the acid will react with the metal and change both the color and taste of the mayonnaise).  Whisk together until blended well. Cover and chill at least one hour before serving to enhance flavor. Store unused mayonnaise covered in the refrigerator for up to one week.  Makes 1 1/4 cups
