Zeppole (Fried Dough)

Ingredients:

2 cups warm water
1 package dry yeast
4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
COLAVITA Premium Blended Oil, for frying
Confectioners sugar


Preparation:


Dissolve yeast in warm water. Mix flour and salt in a bowl; add yeast and additional warm water, as needed. Work dough until sticky and loose. Let rise until double in bulk. Oil hands, pull a tablespoonful of dough and stretch until about 3-4"long. Gently drop into hot oil and fry until golden brown. When cool, sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
